TUPAD

What is TUPAD?
The Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program is a community-based emergency employment initiative of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that provides short-term work opportunities to displaced, underemployed, and vulnerable workers.
How TUPAD Works
Beneficiaries are given temporary paid assignments such as:
- Community clean-ups
- Repair and maintenance of public facilities
- Disaster response activities
- Food distribution logistics and support tasks
- Environmental projects like reforestation or gardening
Beneficiaries receive wages for work performed and may receive orientation on safety and health, micro-insurance coverage, and PPEs where relevant.
