There is Always Hope

Senator Alan Peter Cayetano said Pasko ng Pagkabuhay is a fuller expression of hope as it truly indicates pure joy and celebration — relating it to the good news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He encouraged all to have hope despite times of hardships amid the oil crisis, saying God will always provide ways to support and provide for us.

(0:00:04) Puriiin ang Panginoon. Maligayang Pasko ng Pagkabuhay. Sabi po sa Bibliya, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever shall believe shall not perish but have eternal life. So I join everyone celebrating today.

Kasi, diba, like sa Pilipinas, um…

(0:00:46) September pa lang, pag-ber pa lang, nagse-celebrate na tayo. At everyone just gets into the Christmas spirit. And of course, napaka-importante po nung birth ng ating Panginoon Hesukristo. But having said that, hindi ba sing-importante din po yung purpose kung bakit siya pumunta?

(0:01:11) Dito sa mundong ito. Kasi tayo pag nagsa-celebrate tayo ng birthday, we didn’t exist naman before that. But God existed even before time, di ba? So actually, yung coming here was for a purpose. At yung purpose nga na yun, di ba, is to reconcile us with God.

(0:01:30) Na through His blood we can be acceptable to the Lord Father that we may enter His kingdom and that we may be His ambassadors, His agents for change and transformation. So yung iba po kasi mas gusto nila yung Happy Resurrection Sunday because yung history nung Easter.

(0:01:59) It’s really pure joy and celebration. And it’s really about giving, di ba? I mean, there are a lot of celebrations. And there’s, for example, graduation. Then, tuwang-tuwa ka para dun sa graduate. Tuwang-tuwa ka rin dun sa parent. Birthday. Birthday.

So, pag sinabing Pasko ng pagkabuhay. So, I wanna thank some people. Of course, first and foremost, I wanna thank God. But I want to thank…

(0:02:29) Bishop Jun Escosar, ang pamilya niya of course, Pastor Brian Sebastian, si Direk Mike Sandejas, si Brother Pastor Abogado, Pastorney Jeremiah Belica, Pastor Gilbert. So many people po that made possible yung aming recollection this week. So mga two weeks ago, you know yung sometimes you just know, diba? So parang naramdaman ko lang sa heart ko na parang this year, mag-recollection tayo, mag-focus tayo, di ba? Kasi when we were very young, yun, very conservative, very strict, lalo sa Biyernes Santo. And then we started going to the beach. Then later on, parang everyone…

(0:03:31) Traveled, di ba? Whether Baguio yan, whether Cebu, whether beach, whether abroad. So, had also a lot of invitations to go to a short trip. But even to before Lani said na state of emergency na tutok muna tayo. Naramdaman ko talaga na, you know, it’s time for a recollection. So I wanna talk about that ng konti. Pero bati muna ako sa inyong lahat. (Mentioned viewer). Kanina may bumabati from Japan. Ito si… From Sarangani (Mentioned viewer). Yan. So…

(0:04:10) From Canada. Yan. Si (Mentioned viewer). Watching from Canada. Kamusta kayo dyan sa Canada? (Mentioned viewer), magandang gabi. Hi (Mentioned viewer). God bless you. (Mentioned viewer). So guys…

(0:04:30) You know, the first thing that was coming in my mind kanina nung sinabi kong what if I say hello, of course, praise God, reconnect sa inyo kasi I’ve been meditating and thinking dun sa CIA 365. I was thinking to make it once a week, so 52 weeks. Kaya lang, the last two weeks, ang dami nagko-comment sa akin na, Sir, nanonood kami. Kuya, gusto namin yung interaction, mapakinggan, diba? So…

(0:04:59) Actually, tatlo utang ko sa inyo. Utang ko yung whether it’s once a week or yung CIA 365. Then utang ko usually pagka anniversary namin nila ni March 22. At least three days pero minsan one week nagpo-post ako about married life, marriage, mga tips namin, mga natutunan namin.

(0:05:23) Mga important things about that. And then, diba, number three, thoughts on what’s happening, including praying with everyone, diba? So, guys, yung unang pumasok sa mind ko, yung sinabi ng Panginoon Hesukisto na, seek first His kingdom and righteousness. Okay? Okay.

(0:05:46) So, tignan niyo po yung context. Yung context, kasama niya yung mga apostles, kasama niya parati yung mga disciples niya. Siyempre, nung una, like anyone else, yung joy, yung amazement, and then of course, yung shock sa mga miracles.

(0:06:05) And then, you know, they started realizing that He truly is God. He truly is the Son of God. Of course, in between, you know, knowing Him and getting to know na Siya ang anak ng Panginoon, maraming nangyari, di ba?

(0:06:27) During this time, pinag-uusapan nila yung pagkain nila. Kasi remember, nung araw, wala naman Tapa King or McDonald’s or Jollibee or Wendy’s. At either naka-donkey sila o kabayo o nakapaa. Pag mayaman siguro may carriage. Pero malayo maglakad. So when they were going from town to town, they started thinking about saan sila matutulog, anong kakainin.

(0:07:04) And everything shall be added unto you. So it is my hope that all of us had a very meaningful Holy Week. We have so, so much to think about, so much to pray about. Of course, yung mga OFWs po natin na nasa Middle East, from Israel, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, marami din tayong kababayan po na nasa Iran, marami po tayong kababayan na seafarers, diba? So, and then of course, dito sa atin, ang pinaka-badly hit, sabi nga na sa lahat ng crisis, may winners, may losers yung mga pinaka-mayayaman, tinatamaan negosyo nila but they also have the flexibility to invest and see good investments pero yung pinaka mahirap sila parati ang pinaka losers tapos katulad ngayon, di ba? tricycle driver, jeepney drivers sa lahat, di ba? diesel pa ang pinakamataas ang tinaas, di ba? so, and then of course yung uncertainty so, andami talaga but you know.

(0:08:07) Just like, di ba, pag you’re learning to swim, tapos sinasabi na pag medyo nakainom ka ng tubig or tingin mo, di ba, para kang may feeling na malulunod, the first thing is not to panic, di ba? Kaya may kasabihan din naman tayo on the other hand, di ba, kapit sa patalim na pag tingin mo wala ng choice, kakapit ka sa patalim. There is always hope.

(0:08:30) And there is always a solution sa ating Panginoon. Kahit gaano ka dark, kahit ano yung panahon, financial man yan, may sakit, sakit, away pamilya, away kapitbahay, lahat po yan ay meron pong solusyon. So I’m hoping po na yung iba Wednesday pa lang kasi half day nga, yung iba Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, yung iba nagtatrabaho pa rin, yung iba nag-outing muna ng pamilya.

(0:09:00) Pero alam ko po, napakarami tomorrow will be in church.

(0:09:20) Pastor Brian, when he was sharing about Pasko ng Pagkabuhay, diba? And nasa mind ko talaga yun. Sabi nga ni Bishop Jun, he’ll be talking about it tomorrow. He’ll be speaking sa Alabang, sa Church sa Acacia. And yun nga yung about yung history nung Resurrection Sunday and the word Easter. Okay. So, the other thing…

(0:09:44) Alam mo, kaya alam namin po talaga that the anointing of the Lord God Holy Spirit on the speakers, because karamihan sa speakers talked about identity, anong identity, talked about purpose.

(0:10:00) And alam mo, nung nag-uusap nga, yung mga words na re-reconciliation, re-reformation, renewal. So tomorrow, whether na traffic ka, nagradrive, and you have one second to think, or whether pasahero ka nga sa car, or nagpapagas ka, or kumakain kayo ng pamilya, or right before church, Hi, (Mentioned viewer)! Nasaan ka ngayon? I saw yung mga posts mo. Parang…

(0:10:29) Last time, Europe ba yun o nasa Middle East pa? God bless you, (Mentioned viewer). Sama ko si (Mentioned viewer) kanina. Nag-dinner kami at tinutroan niya ako mag-chess. Sa Glendale, California. Napakaraming Pilipino dyan. So, guys…

(0:10:55) Diba? Just think of that word, diba? Kasi parang, diba, alam naman natin na length at saka alam natin tong period na to is about repentance. Repentance, diba? And why do we need repentance? Because mali ang thinking natin. And because napalayo tayo ng Panginoon. So, pagka tayo’y napalayo, tayo’y tumalikod, anong kailangan mo? Reconciliation, diba? Congressman Jorge Daniel Bocobo, God bless you. Thanks Jorge sa lahat ng tulong last week. Beta (Mentioned viewer), good evening sa’yo. Good morning. Good morning sa inyong lahat. Good morning from UAE. Guys ha, prayers move mountains. So yung safety.

Okay, so…

You know, I never could understand yung parang mag-e-effort ka, pumunta sa Facebook na may Facebook para lang mang-inis. And in the end, ikaw naman ang nginis. But maybe my purpose, so listen din kayo kasi nga, sabi naman ni Lord, love your enemies. So kung ako yung tingin yung enemy nyo, then kailangan nyo ako ilove. At kung love nyo ako, kailangan nyo makinig. At today, we’re discussing itong community, itong pamilya ko sa Facebook about yung nga rebirth, renewal, reform, revival, diba? So, I’ve learned the last 2-3 years, no? Mabait na tao from Belgium. Ito, from Doha, Qatar. Marlene Penolbo. Yan. So, guys, um…

(0:13:27) Tinuruan tayo na garbage in, garbage out, diba? So it really matters what you watch, what you read, what you listen to, sinong barkada mo. So, diba, for example, yung ibang by nature pessimist or parating nag-aalala, kaya sinasabi yung ingat din sa pinapanood. But sometimes, trabaho mo rin, diba? So let’s say, if you’re in the news or katulad ko, public servant, so kahit naa-apektuhan ka na sobrang lungkot mo na sa nangyayari, kailangan mo pa rin panoorin. Diba? But nap, magandang araw sa iyo. Maligayang Pasko ng pagkabuhay. Mabuhay mga taga. Muntinlupa, mga kapitbahay namin. Si (Mentioned viewer) watching from Dubai. Si (Mentioned viewer) from the United Kingdom naman.

(0:14:13) Yan. Ano sabi niya? God talks to us in different ways. So whether mag-Google kayo ng mga favorite nyo na pari, pastor, preachers, whether it’s Christian music, worship music, whether it’s watching a favorite movie, Chosen, gusto ko balikan. But napaka-importante po.

(0:15:07) Diba? Kasi kapag garbage in, gaganoon din lang. Diba? It ends up in all kinds of problems. Diba? So, put in valuable raw materials into your heart, into your mind. Para sa, you know, yung madaling i-test eh, di ba? Kasi test mo against the Bible, test mo motives mo, test mo kung sa sarili mo lang yun or para sa iba. So, summarize ko, di ba? Seek first. So, seek is active ha. First means una. Di ba? So, if you’re seeking a job, you’re seeking finances, seeking reconciliation with family members, seeking a wife, seeking a husband, seeking to go home, etc. Lahat yan importante.

(0:15:59) Pero sabi ni Lord, pause, seek first my kingdom and righteousness. Kung ikaw ay walang problema, God bless you, you’re in a season, you’re in a period na blessed ka talaga and siguro talagang nandiyan ka para maging solusyon na iba. But most, if not all, nakakaramdaman talaga ng brokenness. So in your brokenness, you need renewal. You need reconciliation. You need, you know, all of these things but remember, you are significant. You are important sa ating Panginoon. So, good morning everyone! God bless you po.
